The Ev Effect is Growing

Next Stop: All of Eaton County - and hopefully all of MI!

The mission to plant seeds of generosity by encouraging students to embrace positivity, respect, integrity, and a passion for helping others is growing.

THANK YOU!

From all of us, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

We are grateful for, and humbled by, how many of you were able to join us for the Inaugural breakfast fundaiser. We truly hope your experience was as profound as ours. We would like to thank each and every one of our sponsors for their support in helping inspire the next generation givers. Thank you for making The Ev Effect Breakfast Fundraiser an unforgetable event.

Your presence alone is the true meaning of The Ev Effect, people lifting people and because of you, we were able to raise $19,970!!!

Your support helps hundreds, if not thousands, of children across Mid-Michigan. Kids like Kenny, who only need access to our programming to change their lives for the better, are building self-confidence, fostering empathy, and strengthening their real-world problem-solving skills. And for this we are grateful, as we couldn’t do this without you!

The Ev Effect

The Ev Effect, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based on Everson Guild's Guide to Being Awesome, was founded to empower middle school students to live with intention, lead with kindness, and make a difference in their communities.

Through teacher nominated Spirit Awards and carefully guided support, students are encouraged to dream big, act boldly, and build confidence in who they are. Whether they're supporting a classmate, launching a kindness campaign, or improving their school environment, our recipients are proving that one small act can lead to something much bigger.

The Ev Effect is a nonprofit initiative created to honor the legacy of Everson Guild by empowering middle school students to lead with kindness, purpose, and compassion through Spirit Awards and Pay-It-Forward Grants.
Each year, selected students receive a $250 grant to fund a kindness project of their choosing. With the support of an adult mentor, they plan and carry out acts that ripple positivity through their school and community.
Any middle school student who demonstrates kindness, leadership, integrity, and empathy can be nominated by a teacher or staff member at a participating school.
You can support us by donating, sponsoring a grant, attending our annual events, or simply spreading the word. Every act of kindness counts!
100% of funds raised go toward student grants, recognition materials, and organizing kindness-focused programs. The Ev Effect is volunteer-driven and fully transparent.
While we currently serve schools in the Greater Lansing area, we're exploring ways to expand the ripple. Let us know if you're interested in bringing The Ev Effect to your school!
