Heather Bouck - President

Heather is the City Clerk/Deputy Assessor for the City of Mt Pleasant having her Michigan Professional Municipal Clerk (MiPMC) designation and is a Michigan Advanced Assessing Officer (MAAO). Prior to her time in Mt Pleasant, Heather spent 15 years with Delta Township working in both the Clerk's Office and the Assessing Department. Heather is a graduate of Michigan State University, a current member of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, the Michigan Association of Municipal Clerks where she serves on the Legislative Committee, a member of the Michigan Assessors Association and is currently their Membership Services Coordinator, a position she has held since 2016.

Heather, her three daughters and two son-in-laws are all alumni of Grand Ledge High School. Heather enjoys spending her free time with family, especially as a grandma, being outdoors, reading and traveling.

Tamilyn Nixon - Secretary

Tamilyn is a Special Education Teacher working at Charlotte High School and she has been at Charlotte Public Schools since 1998. She holds a Bachelors from Grand Valley State University, Bachelors from Central Michigan University, and a Masters from Michigan State University. Tamilyn is the Special Education Department Chair, serves on Leadership Team, Special Olympics coordinator for the district, and Unified Champion Schools Coordinator for the High School. In the community, Tamilyn's passion is supporting Special Olympics, looking for ways to create opportunities for a more inclusive educational setting for all students, and generally supporting the message of positivity to all. Tamilyn is a wife to Jeremy and mother of two boys; Seth and Robbie. She loves to spend time with her family, being outdoors and reading.

Jill Anne Huisken - Treasurer

Jill currently works for the State of Michigan and is the accountant for a local church. She has spent over twenty-six years in the same department working as a company examiner and senior financial analyst before moving into management. Jill is a graduate of the now Davenport University with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Accounting. She and her husband of twenty-five plus years, have two grown children, a son and a daughter. Jill had the great privilege of meeting Everson when he was two years old and was able to participate in his life as he was a gymnast, football player, and soccer player alongside her son as they were the same age. His strength of character, gentleness, and compassion for others was always ever present and missed greatly as are his beautiful smile and positive attitude. The world is a better place because he was here, and Jill is honored to be a part of this organization.

Mark Jones - Member at Large

Mark has been a teacher at Grand Ledge Public Schools since 2003, spending all of those years teaching middle school science. In addition to teaching, he has filled many different roles including building PBIS Coordinator, Technology Coordinator, and former Quiz Bowl coach. Before joining Grand Ledge schools, Mark worked as an outdoor environmental educator at YMCA Storer Camps outside of Jackson, MI., teaching science and team-building classes to students from all over southeast Michigan and northeast Ohio. Mark is a graduate of Grinnell College in Iowa and earned a master's degree in Middle Level Education through Walden University. In his spare time Mark enjoys kayaking, cooking and spending time with his wife and two sons.

Laura Guild - Executive Director

Laura is a local Realtor in the Greater Lansing Area, serving the community with their real estate needs since 2014. Prior to her time as a Realtor, Laura was a microbiologist for the State of Michigan working for the Bureau of Laboratories. She holds a degree in Microbiology from Michigan State University. Laura is a wife, mother and grandmother. She is the parent to Christian (Sara), Tilly, Everson, and Cecelia. Proud grandma to Sophia Louise and wife to Chris. She has been an Eaton County resident for all but 1 year of her life, and loves volunteering in the community. In the past Laura has served with many organizations including American Youth Soccer Association, Capital Area Soccer League, Grand Ledge Public Schools, Grand Ledge Soccer Club, Grand Ledge Basketball Boosters, Grand Ledge Wrestling Club, Grand Ledge Track and Field and Grand Ledge Music Boosters. She is currently a part of Grand Ledge Kiwanis club, serves on the Agent Leadership Council at Keller Williams Realty and volunteers her time with church groups as well.
